Reading Tasks

This is one of my reading task from this week i had to read this book called Badge of Honour after you read the book u answer some question and fill out the activities that on there. The activity that was on the Badge of Honour sheet was to get five words from the book and find the definition of the word then you have to put the word into a sentence.

After reading the text, find five interesting words that have been used. Write each word in the first column, followed by their definition (use a dictionary to find these) and use them in a sentence to show that you understand the meaning of each word.

• How do you think Tomasi feels about his new position - I don't think he likes it very much because he would  probably rather fight than be school captain.  

• Why does Fai think Tomasi does not deserve school captain? - because she knows he likes to fight kids after school and he's also in a gang and does Bad things.

• How does the writer show us that Isaac is concerned for Tomasi? - because he told Tomasi to tell the principal to say he was at his house.

• Why do you think Tomasi feels like he has to fight? - because he's in a gang and also he probably feels pressured to fight other kids because his friends say we need you to fight him.

• How does the story tell us how long Isaac and Tomasi have been friends? - It doesn't really but from what i can tell is that they probably haven't been friends for

  

Enlargements

This week for Maths we have be doing enlargements which is were you get a shape or image and enlarge it which makes it bigger. I got a picture of Morty from Rick & Morty and I enlarged him by 5 cm.
